Ahead of the release, his son and one of India’s finest young actors, Ranbir Kapoor shared a special heartfelt message for his fans.
In a video, in which the actor speaks straight from the heart, Ranbir revealed that his father wanted to complete the film at all costs despite his health deteriorating. The actor said his unfortunate departure resulted in the makers trying VFX and even Ranbir trying prosthetics to complete the film. After all, it was veteran actor Paresh Rawal who made Rishi Kapoor’s swansong a fitting conclusion and made sure, a gesture for which Ranbir is extremely grateful.
Ranbir remembered his father saying, “You must have heard ‘Show Zaroor Chalna’, but I have seen Papa live my life. Sharmaji Namkeen will always be (my) one of the fondest memories of my father. On screen Bringing smiles to his countless fans.” He then urged the audience to shower their love for the film like they always did for Rishi Kapoor and requested them to watch the trailer of the film which will release tomorrow.
