Veteran filmmaker Ramanaidu is one of the most iconic personalities of Telugu cinema. Owner of the production company Suresh Productions, the late producer was instrumental in taking the future of films in a new direction. In 2009, Ramanaidu was honored with the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his unique contribution to the film industry. In 2012, he was the recipient of the highly prestigious Padma Bhushan. Daggubati Venkatesh
One of the most notable actors of the Telugu film industry, Daggubati Venkatesh has proved his acting prowess in various blockbuster movies. But, you would be surprised to know that Ramanaidu was responsible for bringing Venkatesh into the film industry. The actor’s debut film, Kaliyuga Pandavulu was produced by Ramanaidu.
Harish Kumar
Harish Kumar carved a niche for himself in the 90s with films including Prem Qaidi, Mudhal Nee Mudivam Nee, Tiranga, and Gaddar, among others. He was hailed as one of the most sought after actors of the day. It was Ramanaidu who introduced Harish to showbiz with the 1990 film Prem Qaidi, in which Harish played the lead actor.
Malashri
Known for Kannada language films, Malasro was a popular face in the late 90s. His subtle acting and charismatic on-screen presence won him the hearts of the masses. Malashree’s debut film was Prem Qaidi. It was Ramanaidu along with Harish who brought a new face to the film world. After the success of Prem Kaidi, there was no looking back for Malashri.
Aryan Rajesh
Actor and filmmaker Aryan Rajesh was also introduced by Ramanaidu in the 2002 film Hai. Directed by EVV Satyanarayana, film enthusiasts loved Aryan’s performance in the romantic drama. Aryan is now both acting and producing films.
