Ram Rahim to be brought to Punjab: Production warrant issued in 2 cases from Faridkot court; Police have time till 4th May

Baba Ram Rahim, the head of Dera Sacha Sauda in Sirsa, Haryana will be brought to Punjab. The Faridkot Court has given a production warrant to the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of Punjab Police in this regard. This warrant has been given in 2 cases. The SIT has been given time till May 4. However, even before this, a production warrant was issued against Ram Rahim in FIR number 63 for theft of the holy form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib. However, due to security reasons, Baba’s petition was stayed by the Punjab and Haryana High Court. After this, the SIT interrogated Baba in Rohtak’s Sunaria jail.

Warrant in disputed poster and sacrilege case
Warrant has been issued against Ram Rahim in two cases registered in the year 2015. In this, the first case is of FIR number 117. In which there is an allegation of putting up a controversial poster. The second case is of FIR number 128, in which the holy form of Sri Guru Granth Sahib was desecrated. In both the cases, the police have named Ram Rahim as the main conspirator.

Police made mastermind
In both these cases, the police have made Baba Ram Rahim the mastermind. After the change of government, Baba was named in both these cases. The Punjab Police had filed a supplementary charge sheet in this regard in the court. In which it was said that Ram Rahim is also behind the disputed poster case in FIR number 117. Apart from this, he is also the prime accused in the sacrilege case of FIR number 128. In this case, the holy parts of Sri Guru Granth Sahib were found scattered in the streets in Bargadi.
