Kannada actor Darshan Thoogudeepa has been remanded by the court to judicial custody in the Renukaswamy murder case. The actor along with his four alleged accomplices were sent to judicial custody on Saturday, June 22. Darshan was taken into the police custody on June 11. After the case became a headline, many celebrities from the film industry decided to remain silent except for a few. Critically acclaimed director RGV is leaving no chance to condemn the heinous crime Darshan was allegedly a part of. He recently called Darshan an ‘Elephant’ who easily gets bothered by the dogs. It is the second time that the director has criticised Darshan on the social media platform. Citing his crime, he also addressed the issue of star worship culture in the film industry.

In the latest tweet, RGV shared a video in which he explains his take on the murder case, which finds Kannada star Darshan in the centre. While sharing the video, RGV said that Darshan attacking Renukaswamy is like an “elephant crushing a dog”.

“Darshan attacking Renuka swamy is like a ELEPHANT attacking a DOG .. I don’t mean DOG in derogatory but only in SIZE ..Imagine a Elephant going berserk because a dog barked at it and viciously crushes it to DEATH,” wrote RGV in his latest tweet.

In the video, Ram Gopal Varma explains the possible chain reaction which led to the murder of Renukaswamy. It has been reported that Renuka, the victim of the case, used to send vulgar messages to Kannada actress Pavithra Gowda. Angry with this behaviour, Renuka was murdered and his dead body was allegedly thrown in a canal at Kamakshipalya, Bengaluru in front of Darshan.

It is claimed that eight of the accused have implicated Darshan, claiming his presence during Renukaswamy’s assault. Pavithra Gowda has also been sent to judicial custody along with Darshan.
