New Delhi: Ram Chandra Prasad Singh On Thursday took over as the new Steel Minister of the country.
He replaced Dharmendra Pradhan, who was allotted Ministry of Education with this Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship in the latest cabinet reshuffle Modi 2.0 Govt.
Singh is a Janata Dal-United leader who represents Bihar in the Rajya Sabha.
He is a retired IAS officer of 1984 batch and has served for more than 25 years in various capacities.
Singh was among those who were administered the oath of office and secrecy by President Ram Nath Kovind on Wednesday.
Talking to reporters, he said, “I am new… I will try to analyze and learn things, only then I will be able to tell better.”
