Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Khan has been accused of raping an Iranian woman. In the complaint filed by her in Mysuru, Adil had allegedly been living with her for three years.
According to a new report, Rakhi Sawant’s husband Adil Khan Durrani has been accused of raping an Iranian woman. An FIR has been registered against Adil in Mysore on the complaint of a 30-year-old Iranian woman. The new allegation comes days after Rakhi accused him of assaulting her, taking money and jewelry from her flat without her permission and having unnatural sex. He was arrested on Tuesday night.
According to Hindustan Times report, the Iranian woman had come India as a student in 2018 to pursue his doctorate in pharmacy. In the same year she met Adil. It is being told that at that time he was running a restaurant. The report added that the two grew close and he allegedly told her that he would marry her. The woman also claimed that she was living in a flat with Adil for three years. However, five months ago when she insisted on marriage, Adil threatened her and also assaulted her.
She has also claimed in her complaint that Adil had threatened to leak her private photos online and send them to her parents living in Iran if he pressured her to marry him. She said that on August 31 last year, Adil deleted the pictures from her phone, but when she called him, he threatened her again.
Speaking to the publication, ACP Ashwath Narayan of Narasimharaja Division said, “The Iranian national visited the police station on February 10 and lodged a complaint against Adil Khan. We have registered a case under IPC sections 376 (rape), 417 (punishment for cheating), 420 (cheating), 504 (intentional insult), 506 (threatening to kill).
Noting that Adil is already in judicial custody in Mumbai in connection with a case filed by Rakhi, the Mysuru police will ‘approach the court and take the accused into custody soon’.
Adil is currently in custody in connection with the allegation filed by Rakhi. The Bigg Boss alum, who married him last year, accused him of cheating her of money and not getting her mother treated.
