Rakesh Roshan put an end to the rumors which claimed that Siddharth Anand could be the director of Krrish 4.
Hrithik Roshan starrer Krrish 3 was the third film in the Krrish series after Koi… Mil Gaya (2003) and Krrish (2006). The story follows Krishna Mehra, aka Krish, and his scientist father, who confront an elaborate conspiracy hatched by the evil genius Kaal and his gang of mutants, led by the ruthless Kaya. Upon its release, the film witnessed both commercial and critical success. Amidst the buzz of the next Krrish film, it was earlier speculated that Siddharth Anand might take over the reins of the film. Now Rakesh Roshan has come forward to put an end to those rumours.
The veteran film-necker told Times of India that there is no truth in this news. Rakesh Roshan said, “This is the first time I am hearing about this.” On the other hand, a source close to the development told, “It is very disrespectful to Rakesh Roshan that anyone other than Rakesh Roshan will be directing the next film.” Krrish movie. He has directed three Krrish films so far. Why would he change now? The Roshan family is now working on a plot for Krrish 4. As soon as they get a script, they will announce Krrish 4. And yes it will be directed by Rakesh Roshan, none other.
Earlier, it was reported that Hrithik Roshan is on the lookout for a Hollywood director to bring the superhero drama back on screen. The source had shared, “He wants to be Krrish. At the moment it is his inner call. They have informed the people around to start searching for the director. In fact, he has even actively asked his team to shortlist possible names from Hollywood. Who knows Hrithik might personally fly down to LA to have a meeting with some Hollywood names on Krrish.”
Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Vivek Oberoi, Krrish 3 also featured Priyanka Chopra, Kangana Ranaut, Arif Zakaria and Rajpal Yadav in key roles.
