“We want to assure the countrymen that the country is completely safe. Whatever challenges come our Army has the power to face it,” he said while talking to reporters Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary Guest House in Unnao.
With regard to the recent attack on air force station Describing the ‘cowardly act’ by armed drones in Jammu, he said, “the attackers will be given a befitting reply soon.”
The defense minister also claimed, “The way the candidates supported by BJP performed in the recently held district panchayat elections in UP, no one can stop the party from forming government again in the state in 2022.”
Later, replying to reporters on Kanpur’s recent statement Rashtriya Swayamsevak RSS Sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat said that Hindus and Muslims share the same DNA, he said, “We talk of ‘sabka saath aur sabka vikas’ (development for all, for all). BJP has never spoken of Hindu-Muslim. Didn’t.
On the issue of religious conversion, the Defense Minister said that whoever is guilty will not be spared. “Some people are doing the politics of fear, but they will not be successful in any way,” he said.
When asked about the need for the third surgical strike to teach a lesson to Pakistan, he said that the army is on alert.
