Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the members of his new cabinet, is set to take oath at a swearing-in ceremony scheduled for today, June 9, at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Modi will be the first three-term Prime Minister after Congress stalwart Jawaharlal Nehru. To commemorate this moment, several Bollywood stars congratulated PM Narendra Modi for his third consecutive term.

Over 65 ministers are likely to take the oath, going by the visual of the meeting Modi held with his likely council of ministers. The decisions on the new cabinet were taken after a meeting at the Prime Minister’s residence yesterday. Amit Shah, Rajnath Singh, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S Jaishankar, who held home, defence, finance and external affairs ministries respectively in the outgoing government, besides its other senior members such as Piyush Goyal, Dharmendra Pradhan, Ashwini Vaishnaw and Hardeep Singh Puri will be part of the new government.
