Rajkot Weather Update, India vs South Africa, 4th T20I: Weather forecast for today’s IND vs SA match

India will need to win the final match against South Africa tomorrow to stay alive in the five-match T20I series. The fourth match of the series is to be played at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Rajkot.

Earlier, the Proteas started the T20I series on a promising note by winning the first two matches. The Rishabh Pant-led side returned to the series after winning the third match by 48 runs.

The openers- Ishan Kishan (54 off 35 balls) and Ruturaj Gaikwad (57 off 35 balls) put on a strong batting performance as India posted a total of 179/5 in 20 overs. Medium pacer Dwayne Pretorius picked up two wickets and emerged as his team’s best bowler in the match. Kagiso Rabada, Tabrez Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj took a wicket each.

South Africa suffered an early setback after losing two early wickets during the run chase. The situation did not change much as the Proteas lost wickets at regular intervals and were eventually bundled out for 131 in 19.1 overs.

Indian fast bowler Harshal Patel performed brilliantly, taking four wickets in the match. Spinner Yuzvendra Chahal took three wickets as India registered a five-wicket win.
