supper star Rajinikanth Will soon be starring in a special appearance in an upcoming Telugu film titled Laal Salaam. This upcoming project is directed by his daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth and produced by Lyca Productions. During the shooting of the film in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, Rajinikanth was seen offering prayers at the famous Annamalaiyar temple.
Several pictures of the superstar’s temple visit have surfaced on social media. The actor wore a simple tee and pants without any expensive or fancy outfits or accessories. When he appeared in the temple, some people gathered in the temple to have a glimpse of him. The superstar visited the temple during the shooting of Laal Salaam, directed by his daughter Aishwarya.
Rajinikanth’s elder daughter Aishwarya is best known for her 2012 film 3, starring Dhanush and Vai Raja Vai. He also directed a documentary titled Cinema Veeran, which brought stunt choreographers into greater limelight. She is now working on her project titled Laal Salaam and has roped in her father for a cameo. The film will also star Vishnu and Vikrant in lead roles. It will have music by AR Rahman. Laal Salaam is scheduled to release this year; However, the dates have not been mentioned yet.
Earlier, Rajinikanth had spent almost a week in Mumbai for the shoot. She also shot alongside legendary cricketer Kapil Dev, who is reportedly playing a cameo in the film. She shared a picture with Kapil Dev from the sets while shooting in Mumbai.
Rajinikanth was last seen in the action film Annaatthe, in which he played the role of a caring brother, which opened to a good response at the box office despite receiving mixed reviews. Rajinikanth is currently working on Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Tamannaah is expected to be seen only in flashback scenes. The film will also star Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff and Ramya Krishnan. This will also be his first collaboration with Sivaji Star. The jailor is to be appointed on August 10 this year.
