As per the recruitment notification issued by the commission, candidates can apply for Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Assistant Engineer positions from August 14 till September 12.

Rajasthan youth who are looking for a government job can now seek employment at Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RSPC). The RSPC has announced a recruitment drive to fill up 1,000 vacancies. The commission released a notification for the recruitment and is looking for eligible candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer and Assistant Statistical Officer. There are a total of 1,014 vacancies for Assistant Engineer and 43 for Statistical Officer.

As per the recruitment notification issued by the commission, candidates can apply for Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Assistant Engineer positions from August 14 till September 12. The application for Assistant Statistical Officer recruitment in the Economic and Statistics Department will be from August 12 to September 10. Candidates must make sure that they apply for the positions by visiting the website of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission – rspc.rajasthan.gov.in.

Application Fees

The application fee for both the recruitments released by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission is the same. Candidates belonging to unreserved/ Other Backward Classes (OBC) Creamy Layer/ Extremely Backward Creamy Layer will have to pay Rs 600. For Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/Extremely Backward Non-Creamy Layer/Backward Non-Creamy Layer the fee is Rs 400. For Economically Weaker Section (EWS)/ Sahariya Area candidates, and Persons With Disability (PWD) the fee is Rs 400.

Who Can Apply

For the role of Assistant Engineer, candidates must have a degree in Bachelor in Engineering (BE) or Bachelor in Technology (B.Tech) in relevant branches. The minimum age limit has been set to 21 years and the maximum age limit is 40 years as of January 1, 2025. Candidates from reserved category will get a relaxation on maximum age limit as per the rules of the government.

For the role of Assistant Statistical Officer, a candidate must have a Master’s Degree in Mathematics or Statistics or Commerce with second-division scores. The minimum age limit has been set to 21 and the maximum age allowed is 40 years.

The selection for these posts will be done based on an exam which includes prelims/mains followed by an interview.
