Jaipur: Polling for the first phase of Panchayat Samiti and Zilla Parishad elections will be held on Sunday in Baran, Kota, Ganganagar and Karauli districts of Rajasthan. All necessary arrangements have been made for free, fair, peaceful and secure voting in the state. Election Commissioner PS Mehra said this here on Saturday.
Mehra said in a statement that polling will be held from 7.30 am to 5.30 pm and 1,434 polling stations have been set up. He said that the second and third phase of polling will be held on December 15 and 18 respectively and the counting of votes will take place on December 21.
