Kota: The identity of a 50-year-old government school teacher . happened as Badrilal MeenaA case of raping a 30-year-old married woman has been registered in Bundi’s Keshoraipatan area on Sunday.
The rape victim, in her report, said that the incident took place at her house on Saturday when the accused was on a nomination drive. Finding her alone in the house, raped her.
However, the police have not arrested the accused teacher as the statements of the rape victim are from when she was alone. The teacher had come there to talk about getting her children admitted in her school. However, no arrest has been made so far as the victim’s statement is yet to be recorded.
Meena is a government school teacher in Baldara village, ASI Keshoraipatan Police Station Harishankar Sharma said. He said that after the incident, Meena threatened the woman that she would have to face dire consequences if she told anyone in the family about this. On returning home on Saturday night, the victim narrated the ordeal to her husband.
Police have started investigation by registering a case under section 376 of IPC. The woman has been sent for medical examination. Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused often used to visit the victim’s house on one pretext or the other.
