Rajasthan: 3 arrested for attacking Nokha Congress President Jaipur News – Times of India

Bikaner: Police on Saturday claimed to have arrested three people in connection with the attack on Rural Congress Committee Nokha chief Megh Singh. The trio have been identified as Hari Singh, Gulab Singh and Rajkumar alias Chotiya.
Nokha police station SHO Ishwar Jangid said, “Police have also recovered the vehicle used in the attack.”
Police have identified the other accused including constable Prithviraj Bishnoi but they are still absconding.
“Police teams are continuously raiding their hideouts,” Jangid said.
Singh, the president of Congress Nokha block, was attacked on Thursday evening near Himmatsar village bus stand on Bikaner-Jodhpur NH-11 when he was returning home with his family after visiting Deshnok Karni temple in his car. The goons stepped out of an SUV and dragged Bhati out of his car and thrashed him with sticks.
Meanwhile, Megh Singh from PBM Hospital in Bikaner has been referred to the Higher Center in Jaipur on the request of his family members. On the basis of the statement of Megh Singh, the police have registered an FIR against 13 identified attackers and others.
Circle Officer of Nokha Police Circle, Nem Singh told TOI that the attack was prima facie a result of political rivalry between two groups in the village and there may be some links to internal strife between Megh Singh’s family.
However, the police have identified the accused involved in the attack and efforts are on to arrest the rest of the accused.
