Twelve girl students of a residential school in Rajasthan’s Sirohi district fell ill after consuming contaminated khichdi. Officials gave this information on Sunday.
The incident took place at Devnarayan Residential School on Saturday evening, he said.
Chief Medical and Health Officer (Sirohi) Dr. Rajesh Kumar said that 12 students were taken to the hospital on complaints of abdominal pain, vomiting and nausea.

Four of them are undergoing treatment at a hospital, while the rest were discharged after first aid, he said.
Kumar said that the samples of khichdi have been sent for testing.
