Mumbai: Mumbai Police, at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon, revealed some startling details in the alleged production of pornographic films by businessman Raj Kundra, revealing that Raj Kundra and his company operated an app in collaboration with a UK-based firm, which published material. movies.

“New actors, especially female actors, were lured to auditions on the pretext of being offered roles in web series or short films. During auditions, actors were asked to create bold scenes, which eventually ended in semi-nude And translated into full nude shots.”

The official further said that some women artistes protested and even approached the crime branch following which a case was registered in the matter. While accepting the case, the crime branch has arrested 9 people including Rova Khan, Gehana Vashistha, Tanveer Hashmi.

Mumbai Police told the media that during investigation some producers forced them to make short pornographic films. Mumbai Police has also arrested a person named Umesh Kamak who was overseeing the operations of Raj Kundra’s company Viaan in India.

On further investigation, it was found that Kundra’s Mumbai-based company has tie-up with a London-based company named Kenrin. The UK-based firm is owned by the brother-in-law of Raj Kundra.

The official told the media that the company operates an app called ‘Hotshots’. In collaboration with a UK firm, the duo used to publish on this app except for the created content. Police revealed that the company is registered in London, while account and operations management, and content creation took place in Mumbai.
