Mumbai: The case of Raj Kundra pornography is coming with new twists. Ever since Shilpa Shetty’s husband was arrested on July 19 for allegedly producing obscene films, several celebrities including his wife and Gehna Vashisht have come out in support of the businessman and claimed that the content on his app was ‘erotic’. And it cannot be done. It’s called ‘porn’.
However, some celebrities like Poonam Pandey and Sherlyn Chopra reportedly claimed that they were being ‘pushed into business’. Gehana Vashisht, who was arrested earlier this year for alleged production of porn films, revealed in one of her interviews that both Poonam and Sherlyn are “lying”.
Now according to the latest update, the Crime Branch has summoned model and actress Sherlyn Chopra by sending summons to Gehana Vashisht in the Raj Kundra pornography case. The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has reportedly asked the actress to appear before them and record her statement in connection with the pornography case tomorrow (July 27) at 11 am.
Sherlyn Chopra shared a video of herself on her Instagram after Raj Kundra was arrested a few days ago. Sharing the video, Sherlyn wrote in Hindi, ‘For the past few days many journalists and media reporters are calling me, messaging on WhatsApp, emailing and asking me to come forward and say something on this subject. Let us tell you that the person who first gave a statement on this subject to Maharashtra Cyber, it is none other than me.
