Raj Gears Up To Tackle Drug Menace | Jaipur News – Times of India

Jaipur: The state government on Wednesday set up the Drug-Free Rajasthan Directorate, Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) and Anti-Narcotics Unit (ANU) for prevention of drug abuse, rehabilitation of drug victims and creating public awareness.
The directorate is being formed for eliminating drug addiction. Secretary home (ex-officio) will be the commissioner. Representatives of NGOs working in this field and psychiatrists will be its members. Officers/employees of medical and family welfare, excise, education, social justice and empowerment, police, state FSL and directorate of information and public relations will also be included.
ANTF has been formed under the chairmanship of additional chief secretary (Home).
