The Indian Railways has announced a new recruitment drive under the sports quota. A total of 67 positions are being filled through this latest initiative. Interested candidates with the relevant qualifications can apply via the official Southern Railway website, rrcmas.in.

Age Limit
The age limit of the applicants must be 18 to 25 years old. Candidates should be born between 02-01-2000 and 01-01-2007 (both dates inclusive).
Eligibility Criteria:
7th Pay Commission Level 1: Candidates should have completed Class 10 or possess an ITI certificate from a recognised institution.
7th Pay Commission Level 2/3: Candidates should have passed the 12th grade or an equivalent examination.
7th Pay Commission Level 4/5: Candidates should hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or institution.
Application Fee
Fee for all candidates except for the fee concession categories applying for the railway positions will need to pay a fee of Rs 500, with Rs 400 refunded after deducting bank charges upon appearing for the examination.
However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/Scheduled Tribe (ST), women, ex-servicemen, Persons with Disability (PwD), minority communities, and Economically Backward Class (EBC) will be initially required to pay an application fee of Rs 250. However, this amount will be refunded when they appear for the examination.
Salary on selection in Railways
Upon selection for the railway positions, candidates will be offered a salary according to the 7th Pay Commission levels. The salary details are as follows: Level 1 positions will offer Rs 18,000, Level 2 positions will provide Rs 19,900, Level 3 will come with Rs 21,700, Level 4 will pay Rs 25,500, and Level 5 positions will offer Rs 29,200.
As per the official notification, candidates will be selected based on the examination, document verification, and medical test.
