Rahul Tripathi once again showed what he is capable of on Wednesday. During the third and final T20I against New Zealand, he came out to bat after the early dismissal of Ishan Kishan and then put on an 80-run partnership for the two.Ra Wicket with opener Shubman Gill. Batting on 44, Rahul looked to complete his maiden T20I half-century with a big knock, but ended up getting it out to Lockie Ferguson. He hit the Kiwi spinners in back-to-back overs to keep the momentum going. However, his entertaining knock came to an end when he was pulled off a half-tracker by Sodhi.

He said, ‘If I could have scored a few more runs, I would have been happy. Rahul (Dravid) sir and everyone is telling me to play the way I have been playing and take advantage of the first six overs. It’s a great atmosphere in the stadium playing in front of such a huge crowd. And even more happy that we have won the series.

Shubman Gill and Rahul Tripathi delivered in Wednesday’s game India Some momentum after the dismissal of Ishan Kishan and he did it to perfection by hitting several boundaries.
