Rahul Gandhi’s new look Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has reached London for a week-long visit during which he will deliver a lecture at his alma mater – Cambridge University.

Rahul Gandhi decided to ditch his ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra look’ and was seen sporting a shaved beard, cropped hair and a crisp suit on his arrival in the United Kingdom.

The 52-year-old leader is scheduled to speak on the topic “Learning to Listen in the 21st Century”. He will also interact with NRIs on March 5 and meet members of the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC), the overseas wing of his party.

Rahul Gandhi, who represents Kerala’s Wayanad in the Lok Sabha, launched the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, which began on September 7, 2022, from Kanyakumari and ended in Jammu and Kashmir, passing through 12 states – during which around 4,000 Kilometers covered in four and a half months.

Gandhi’s UK visit comes days after the 85th plenary session of the Congress in Chhattisgarh’s Raipur, where the party brainstormed its strategy for the 2024 general elections and deliberated on several internal issues.
