Apart from taking stock of the party’s organizational progress, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi will lay the foundation stone of several projects in the state, including the burning of Amar Jawan Jyoti, during his visit to Chhattisgarh. Criticizing the state government’s move, BJP leader Gaurishankar Srivas said a case of sedition has been registered against the agitating policemen in the state who never built a memorial for those who lost their lives in the war against Naxalism. “Getting brownie points in front of Rahul Gandhi is only a political move,” the leader said.
