Rahul Dravid ends his time as the head coach of the Indian cricket team with an ICC title, winning the T20 World Cup 2024.
There were many questions regarding whether the Indian head coach, Rahul Dravid was the man to take India over the line and help the Men in Blue win an ICC title.
But that question has certainly been answered as he brings an end to his five-year-long coaching tenure with the Indian team with an ICC T20 World Cup 2024 title home.

Under his coaching, India was able to get to three finals, one in each format of the sport but it was in the newer T20 format that he was able to get the title as they beat South Africa by 7 runs.
India has been a dominant force in cricket across formats. But his time with the Indian team has certainly paid dividends. The likes of Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav, Axar Patel and many more have been outstanding, to say the least.
Many coaches have come and gone, but Dravid will be among the few, among the likes of Gary Kirsten, Lalchand Rajput, PR Mansingh, John Wright and Duncan Fletcher in the Hall of Fame of Indian coaches who have lifted an ICC World Cup.

The Men in Blue are a side that had all their bases covered under his time and that is certainly not many can show off in their resume. With such an armory it would have been a disappointment to end without the title but that isn’t the case.
The Wall was not able to hold his emotions after India won the title as he was seen shedding tears of joy after India attained glory once again.
Ending the series of heartbreaks on a high, Rahul Dravid leaves the Indian team who are primed to dominate world cricket in coming years.
