Rahul Jatin talks about his recently released songs, plans to carry forward his father Jatin Pandit’s legacy and plans to act. read on.
Rahul Jatin, son of music composer Jatin Pandit, believes that just because he is the son of an established person in the music industry, it does not make things easy for him. In a recent exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Rahul revealed that experience and talent are of utmost importance in today’s times.
“To be honest, I don’t think it’s easy by any means. Never in the past has a musician’s son been launched, I don’t think there ever will be. The public is wiser today. They don’t just give work for the sake of it. Everyone tries to give work to near and dear ones instead of giving work to an outsider. But nothing happens easily. If you have experience and have done lot of work then it helps. But other than that it is not like people They say, ‘Jatin ji ka beta hai isko kaam dedo’,” He told us.
Rahul reasoned that he does not take the pressure of being the son of an award-winning music director. “I really believe that today’s audience is very smart and they know how talented someone is, who got what opportunity for what reason. If people go to my Instagram they will know that I am working hard. I am not getting things easily. I have been working for a few years now, I also feel that I can do much better. Not only me but the people who work with me also feel the same. I don’t take that kind of pressure,” he said.
Jatin Pandit’s son further said that he wants to work hard which will inevitably take his father’s legacy forward. “If I am talented, if people like my work, I will inevitably take forward my family’s legacy. The main goal is to make good songs. That is my focus. I don’t constantly think about carrying on a legacy or doing something specific because I come from a particular family. The goal is to make good songs, work with integrity and honesty.”
Rahul talked about his recently released song ‘Chand Mere Channa’ and thanked the audience for liking it. “I’m so happy. I loved the song. I think it’s probably one of my favorite romantic songs that I’ve come up with and I really thought people would love it. I’m glad people Did it. I haven’t come across any negative comments. I am happy with how it turned out,” he shared.
Rahul also revealed that he does not want to stick to music but is also interested in acting. “We live in times where one must do everything. It is important to build a following for yourself. Even if it is through acting, I am okay with it. If there is a web series, a film or a good role, So I will do that. I have no problem with it,” he shared.
The young singer was offered a role in a film, but could not accept it as he was not in the country at that time.
