Queen Elizabeth sends personalized letter to 1-year-old who dressed like her for Halloween

A one-year-old girl dressed as Queen Elizabeth for the Halloween party last year has been trending on social media. Ohio-based Jalayne Sutherland has managed to garner royal attention after her mother, Caitlin Sutherland, presented her heart-wrenching photos to the Queen. To his surprise, the Queen replied to his letter and wished the little girl a Merry Christmas, The Sun reported.

The Queen responded to this submission and wished the little girl a Merry Christmas. On behalf of the Queen, Her Lady-in-Waiting, Hon. Mary Morrison wrote to the family: “The Queen wants me to write and thank you for your letter, and for the picture you have thoughtfully attached. Her Majesty thought you would write to her, and the Queen was pleased to see the picture.” Your daughter, Jalayne, in her splendid outfit.” He added in the letter, “Your Majesty hope you all have a very Merry Christmas, and I’m enclosing a little bit of information about the Royal Pets that Jalean might like.”

In the Halloween photos, the little girl can be seen wearing the Queen’s statement pearl necklace, a light blue jacket, matching wide-brimmed hat, a purse and a handbag. The cherry on the cake was that she even posed with two corgis, the emperor’s favorite breed.
The short letter from Windsor Castle, where the Queen is currently living, made her feel very special.
