Pushpa (Hindi) Box Office Collection Week 4: Allu Arjun starrer sees first major drop in collections ahead of OTT release – Times of India

, Hindi dubbed version of Allu Arjun‘Smash Hit’Pushpa: The Rise saw its first major drop in collections at the domestic box office.

The film has beaten all the competition so far and has increased its earnings by Rs 1 crore on the fourth Monday. The drop in collections comes just days before the upcoming OTT release of the film. Come January 14, ‘Pushpa’ will be available on a streaming service for all to watch.

With Monday’s collections, the film officially crossed the Rs 80 crore mark. Now its estimated collection is Rs 80.64 crore.

According to Boxofficeindia.com, a drop in the fourth week’s collections would mean that the film could earn an estimated Rs 11.50 crore which is still better than the fourth week’s collection. Akshay Kumar Starrer’sooryavanshi, The report further stated that the collection got affected after the state of Maharashtra imposed night curfew from Monday. This is expected to have a huge impact on the business.

The Hindi dubbed version of ‘Pushpa’ will premiere on January 14, followed a week later by the Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada versions on the streamer on January 7.

Written and directed by Sukumar, ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ also features Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil, the star of Malayalam cinema in his Telugu debut.
