Allu Arjun’s Pushpa Box Office Collection Day 14
Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rise refused to slow down. After becoming the first South Indian film of 2021 to hit the $2M mark in the United States, the film is inching towards Rs 200 crore. While Pushpa has a cast from the south, it is ruling the box office in all languages. The box office collection of the film has been affected due to 50 per cent occupancy in cinema halls in many states and the closure of cinema halls in Delhi. However, Pushpa manages to maintain her momentum. According to Box Office India, Pushpa earned around Rs 3 crore on Thursday, taking the total to Rs 190 crore.
Rashmika Mandanna and Allu Arjun’s Pushpa is the fourth highest-grossing Hindi film after Baahubali 2, 2.0 and Baahubali.
After the success of Pushpa: The Rise, the makers have announced to start shooting for the sequel titled ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ in February. Speaking to IANS, Sukumar revealed, “I have shot a few parts for ‘Pushpa: The Rule’ but then have to shoot it again. I will have to shoot the entire film and we will be shooting for the entire film in February next year. We intend to start shooting. We intend to release the film on December 16 next year, just like we released ‘Pushpa: The Rise’ on December 17 this year.”

Helmed by Sukumar, Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music for ‘Pushpa: The Rise’. Rashmika Mandanna plays the female lead, while Ajoy Ghosh, Sunil Verma, Anasuya Bharadwaj appear in pivotal roles. Malayalam star Fahadh Faasil appears as one of the villains in the film.
