The Kharar Court has issued summons to the Panchayati Raj Minister of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government of Punjab. The Panchayat Minister has been ordered to appear on July 25. This case is about getting rid of land in Siswan. Against which the person occupying the land had filed a petition in the court. Captain Bikramjit Singh, who occupied the ground, called it a content of court. After which the court has summoned the minister.

The Aam Aadmi Party government had announced to get rid of illegal encroachments from Panchayati lands. The Panchayati Raj Minister of the state started it from Siswan. Where Captain Bikramjit Singh’s possession of 29 acres was freed. The minister had said that it was illegal occupation. It was only after the order from the court that he took the police force and got the tractor running on the ground. The minister had claimed that the land was in possession since 2007.

Congress MLA Sukhpal Khaira targeted minister Kuldeep Dhaliwal. He said that the minister has violated the court order. He said that when such things are done for cheap publicity bypassing the rules, then they also have to face the consequences.
