According to party sources, the Bharatiya Janata Party has planned to pray for the long life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PM’s convoy was stuck for 15-20 minutes due to road jam in Punjab on Wednesday. The Prime Minister, who was traveling by road, had to cancel his program in Ferozepur.
PM Modi, who had to return to Bathinda airport on Wednesday due to a security breach during his visit, told state government officials at the airport, “Thank your CM, I was able to return alive till Bathinda airport”. .
In Delhi, General Secretary Arun Singh, Dushyant Gautam and Baijayant Panda will offer prayers at the Hanuman temple at Connaught Place. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also chant Maha Mrityunjau at the cave temple.
Also, there will be worship in Mahakaleshwar and Omkareshwar.
There will be a special puja and aarti for PM Modi in Varanasi at the Kaal Bhairav temple.
Similarly, people across India will chant Mahamrityunjaya in various temples, the BJP said.
