Chandigarh: Punjab Police on Wednesday immediately withdrew the security of 19 advisors and OSDs of former Advocate General Atul Nanda and former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh as well as his wife and Patiala MP Preneet Kaur.
In a letter issued from the ADGP Security Office on Wednesday morning, it has been clarified that departmental action will be taken against the personnel who remain absent for not reporting on time. The ADGP office has sought compliance reports from the concerned Commissioners of Police and SSPs for providing security to the security personnel residing in Punjab and from the Commandant of the 82nd Battalion of Punjab Armed Police, Chandigarh by 11 am on Wednesday for the security personnel residing in Chandigarh. on one’s own.
