Punjab CM Charanjit Singh Channi
The much-awaited Punjab cabinet expansion will take place today (26 September). Sources said that after a marathon meeting with the Congress high command, the list of ministers for the new cabinet under the leadership of Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi has been finalized.
Two of the three meetings were held at Rahul Gandhi’s residence within 24 hours. The meetings continued till late in the night.
All the ministers are likely to take oath at the Governor’s House of Punjab at 4.30 pm in Chandigarh on Sunday.
