Trinamool MP Shantanu Sen has been suspended for the entire session on the fourth day of the monsoon session of Parliament. The government proposed his suspension in the Rajya Sabha. He had torn documents yesterday from the hands of IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Today Vaishnav said on this incident that Trinamool has a culture of violence in Bengal and this culture it is trying to bring in the house.
IT Minister Vaishnav was giving a statement in the House on Thursday on reports of spying of Indians through Pegasus software and allegations of opposition in the matter. Meanwhile, Shantanu snatched the paper from their hands and threw it into pieces.
Hardeep Puri abused in Rajya Sabha: Shantanu Sen
Leader of the House in Rajya Sabha Piyush Goyal and Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi reached out to the opposition members and assured them that the minister would answer their questions after giving his statement, but it did not make any difference. When Vaishnav could not read the entire statement, it was laid on the table. At the same time, Shantanu Sen has alleged that Union Minister Hardeep Puri abused him in the Rajya Sabha and he was about to beat up, but his colleagues saved him.
