Police said unidentified persons broke into an electronic shop in Bhosari on the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday and robbed 222 cellphones worth Rs 55 lakh.
Based on the complaint of Prabhu Bhati (32), an FIR has been registered at Bhosari police station of Pimpri Chinchwad police.
Police said the thieves entered by breaking the roof of the tin shed of MR Surya Electronics India Pvt Ltd shop in Bhosari and snatched cell phones worth Rs 55,12,642.
Police is examining the CCTV footage installed at the spot for clues.
