A Pune court granted bail to Vishal Agarwal, the father of the teenager accused in the Pune Porsche accident, in the Juvenile Justice Act case.

Agarwal, a real estate developer, was booked under the Juvenile Justice Act for “exposing a child to danger” by handing over an unregistered car to him while knowing that he had no driving license.

The 17-year-old accused was allegedly driving the Porsche car at a very high speed while intoxicated on May 19 when it rammed into a bike, resulting in the deaths of two software engineers, Aneesh Awadhiya and Ashwini Koshta.

The teen’s father, Vishal Agrawal and his mother Shivani were arrested in connection with the case for their suspected involvement in swapping his blood samples.
