Puducherry government schools used to have various problems, like a lack of clean ventilation facilities, toilets, and space facilities, but now this situation has changed, and they are improving the infrastructure facilities in the government schools to the extent that they surpass the private schools.

Now, in Puducherry, government schools are more successful than private schools through unsustainable activities. ML Poongavana Chettiar Govt. Primary School in Kalapet of Puducherry is on that list. All the classrooms are equipped with smart TVs and a rooftop for dining, and the herb and nutritious vegetable garden is considered to be a special feature.

In improving the facilities like the herb garden in this school, the teachers, parents, and the students studying there are working together as a family to carry out various tasks, so today the government school is counted parallel to the private school. More than 200 students are studying at this school. This school, which used to look like a desert, has now been converted into a green school.

Due to the hard work of teachers and students, this government school has turned into an herb garden today. In this school, more than 50 herbal plants and more than 100 types of vegetables are grown.
