New Delhi: Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on Thursday said that announcements will be made on airplanes, ships, metros and railway stations to mark the moment when the country will achieve the target of delivering 100 crore Covid-19 vaccine doses.
Releasing the Coffee Table Book on Kovid Warriors, the Health Minister said that the target of 100 crore doses is expected to be achieved by October 18 or 19.
He told reporters, “After achieving 100 crore doses, we will go into mission mode to ensure that those who have taken their first dose also take their second dose to ensure that they are safe from COVID-19. are safe from -19.”

The Coffee Table Book also salutes the doctors and nurses in a remote tribal area, who worked tirelessly to overcome the deep hesitation against vaccination.
The book likewise pays tribute to some of these community radio station announcers, who encouraged communities to take the COVID vaccine and took the word forward by being the first to do so themselves.
