PSEB 10th Result 2022: How to Check Punjab Board Marksheet Online, Through SMS, Digilocker

Punjab School education The Board (PSEB) has declared the class 10 result 2022 today, July 5. However, students will be able to check their scores online on the official website from tomorrow, July 6, at 10 am. pseb.ac.in, Out of the total students who took the exam, 97.94% have passed. More than 3.11 lakh students took the exam in regular mode. This time the pass percentage is slightly less than last year. Out of 3.23 lakh students who took the exam in private or open mode, 3.16 lakh students passed. Gurdaspur is the best performing district in PSEB 10th Result 2022. The lowest marks obtained by the students in the merit list is 96.77 percent. A total of 312 students have secured the top position this time.

Merit list or topper’s list has also been released. The top three ranks have been secured by girls. Nancy Rani of Ferozepur has secured the first rank. The holders of the first and second ranks got equal marks but according to the tie-breaker formula, Nancy is younger and hence given the top spot. 1 lakh will be given to the topper by PSEB. Cash prizes will also be given to the second and third rankers.

The Punjab Board Class 10 exam was conducted from April 29 to May 19. Students have to secure at least 33 percent marks to appear in the next class. Students not satisfied with their marks were allowed to appear in compartment examination. However, those who fail the compartment exam will have to repeat the year. Students can also opt for revaluation of their answer sheets.

This is because it contains their registration number or roll number which they need to enter in the box provided on the website to access their score. PSEB 10th Result 2022: What to Check

After getting the Punjab Board 10th result, students must check all the details on the score card to make sure that it is error free. It includes marks, overall percentage, student name with spelling, personal details, school name and spelling, percentage and grade calculation, pass/fail status. Students should also check carefully whether the roll number is correct or not. Punjab Board 10th Result 2022: No hardcopy of marksheet?

The online marksheet that students will get today will be final. PSEB will not issue any hardcopy to the students. He has said that online marksheet will be accepted in all the schools of the state. Those who want to get one can get one, but they will have to pay Rs 800 for it. This is applicable for both class 10 and 12 results. PSEB Chairman, Dr Yograj had earlier informed that the soft copy of the result will be available free of cost to the students through the Digilocker app and it is not mandatory for the students to opt for the hardcopy.

Punjab Board 10th Result 2022: How to Calculate Final Result

This year the Punjab Board had conducted the 10th examination in two terms. While Term 1 results have already been declared, Term 2 results will be declared today. The final result will be calculated on the basis of combined results of Term 1 and Term 2. Students should note that the result of Term 2 only will not be final. However, PSEB has not yet announced the weightage of each term.

Punjab Board 10th Result 2022: Passing Marks, Revaluation Process

To pass PSEB 10th Result 2022, students need to score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject and in aggregate. Students who are not satisfied with their results can opt for revaluation. They will have to pay an additional fee for getting their answer sheets re-evaluated. Those who miss some marks will be given a chance to appear in compartment exam, the date of which will be announced soon. However, students who fail to obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the compartment examination will have to repeat the year.

PSEB will announce the merit list today after releasing the marksheet of the students. The topper list or merit list will be released today after a gap of two years. It will include the names of the toppers along with their marks. Last year, Punjab Board Class 10 board exams were canceled due to the pandemic, results were declared on elective evaluation and merit list was not released.

PSEB 10th Result 2022: How was the Punjab Board’s score in the previous years?

Since the board exam was not conducted last year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, PSEB had announced the results on the basis of previous year marks and internal assessment. Thus, the pass percentage was high, however, this time, it may again go down to pre-pandemic levels. In 2021, 99.93 percent of the students who took the Punjab Board 10th exam cleared it. The pass percentage in 2020 was 100 percent. There was no exam that year also. The pass percentage in 2019 was 85.56 percent and in 2018 it was 59.47 percent.

PSEB 10th Result 2022 Today, 12th Result Already Out

The Punjab Board has already released the class 12 result on June 28. The pass percentage for class 12th is 96.96 percent. A total of 2,92,520 passed out of 3,01,725 ​​students who took the exam. Compared to the previous year when the exam was cancelled, the pass percentage has come down by only 1.51 percent. Girls outperformed boys in PSEB 12th result. The top three ranks were secured by girls – Arshdeep Kaur, Arshpreet Kaur and Kulwinder Kaur, all scoring 497 marks out of a total of 500.
