Proud Allu Arjun Records Devi Sri Prasad Receiving National Film Award For Pushpa, Video Goes Viral – News18

Allu Arjun was a proud star seated in the audience as he watched music director Devi Sri Prasad receive his National Film Award for Pushpa. On Tuesday, the National Film Awards 2023 ceremony took place and the winners were honoured with a medal and certificate. Devi Sri Prasad won Best Music Direction (Songs) at the 69th National Awards. As he got up the stage, a proud Allu Arjun pulled out his phone and recorded the iconic moment.

The Pushpa star, who was also honoured with Best Actor award for his performance in the movie, was seen seated beside Kriti Sanon and behind SS Rajamouli. Allu Arjun was seen sporting a big smile as he recorded Prasad walk on stage and receive his honour. The actor did not stop at that. He also recorded MM Keeravani who was honoured with the Best Music Direction – Background Score. Arjun’s reaction has now gone viral.

Earlier in the day, Allu Arjun walked the red carpet and spoke about winning the Best Actor award. “I am extremely happy I am receiving this award, and receiving it for a commercial film is a double achievement for me personally.” Dressed in a stylish and classic ensemble, he exuded grace and charisma as he made his way down the red carpet. Before leaving for the ceremony, he was asked to recreate the signature Pushpa style and he obliged it,” he said.

Allu Arjun is now preparing for Pushpa 2 aka Pushpa: The Rule. The film is releasing next year in August. Allu Arjun shared his first-look poster of Pushpa 2 in which he was seen dressed in a saree with his face painted in shades of blue and red. He also sported bangles, jewellery, a nose pin and jhumkas. Last month, the look poster of Fahadh Faasil from the movie was also released.
