Jaipur: Prohibitory orders under section 144 of CrPC have been imposed in the Jaipur Police Commissionerate area on Sunday in protest against the Centre’s Agneepath plan to recruit soldiers for four years. Ajaypal Lamba, Additional Commissioner of Jaipur Police. Orders to implement Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC) from 6 pm on Sunday till midnight of 18 August.
He said that there is a possibility of law and order disturbance due to the protests.
Lamba said that all types of rallies, dharnas, demonstrations and public meetings will be banned without prior permission.
It has also been directed that no one should circulate inflammatory messages on social media which may lead to law and order problem.
He said that action would be taken against those violating the orders.
