Project K At Comic Con: Kamal Haasan Receives Warm Welcome From Fans

angel: The excitement reached new heights as legendary actor Kamal Haasan arrived in San Diego. He is all set to create history by revealing the teaser and title of the project at the much-awaited San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) event. On stepping into San Diego, Haasan was greeted warmly by his fans, showered with flowers and cheered by the crowd. The superstar took no time to show his heartfelt appreciation to his enthusiastic fans who were eagerly waiting for him. Project K producer C Aswani Dutt of Vyjayanthi Movies was with Haasan.

The warmth and appreciation between Kamal Haasan and his fans was palpable, making for an unforgettable moment for all in attendance. On Wednesday, the makers of ‘Project K’ released the first look poster of Prabhas. The poster shows Prabhas dressed in armor and his hair in a man-bun like a warrior. He can be seen doing the popular ‘superhero landing’.


Sharing his look, Prabhas wrote on Instagram, “Here’s the first look of #ProjectK. Hope you all enjoy it. Watch the first look on 20th July (PST) and 21st July (IST).” ‘Project K’ is directed by Nag Ashwin. It also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani. Interestingly, the makers released the first look of Prabhas ahead of the much-anticipated debut of the film at the iconic H Hall of San Diego Comic-Con.


As reported by Variety, today the film’s team along with Prabhas, Haasan and director Nag Ashwin will host a panel titled “This is Project K: First Glimpses of India’s Mytho-Sci-Fi Epic”, during which the full title of the film, Teaser trailer and release date to be revealed. The stars will also join in the performance on SDCC’s biggest stage.

“This special event will take guests into India’s most ambitious cinematic universe with its captivating storyline, futuristic setting and film-inspired ‘spice punk’ aesthetic,” the makers said in a statement. Director Ashwin also expressed enthusiasm.

He added, “We are thrilled to introduce ‘Project KS’ at San Diego Comic-Con. India’s storytelling tradition has ancient roots, with its epics serving as the origins of many civilizations across the globe. A world this big needs a big platform to introduce it to the masses. Comic-Con seemed like the perfect place to find the sincerity and enthusiasm needed for ‘Project K’.”
