Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas announced the birth of their daughter in late January, leaving fans across the world stunned. Sharing that they welcomed their first child via surrogacy, the two have kept a low profile ever since, which is understandable. Chopra and Jonas have not yet publicly shared their daughter’s name or anything about her life. On March 31, during a live session with ETimes, Priyanka’s mother and cosmetologist Madhu Chopra opened up about the actor being a new mom and embracing motherhood.
Madhu reveals that she hasn’t met the little one yet but she is always thinking about him. “I don’t even remember Priyanka and my son anymore. I think everything is small, ”she said. When asked how Priyanka is settling into motherhood, Madhu said that the actor is happy to have a new addition to her family.
She said that while her daughter lives in LA, and she is here in India – she doesn’t have time to meet her. However, Madhu said, ‘We do FaceTime sometimes. I think she is happy and happy. That’s all I can say at the moment.” Madhu shared that once she visits him then only she will be able to give a better answer.
While PeeCee is embracing motherhood, settling down, balancing her work and professional life, her mother is excited about becoming a grandmother. She said that she had been waiting a long time for something like this to happen. Madhu describes it as “happy”, adding that she cannot express how her heart is going, she cannot hide her happiness.
During the conversation, Madhu told how he encouraged Priyanka when she wanted to quit the competition, as she did not get any prizes in small events. However, Madhu continues to support him in every way and the rest is history. Priyanka won the coveted title of Miss World in 2000, after which she entered the film and entertainment industry.
