Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have been beset with questions about starting a family since their wedding in December 2018. The power couple finally put an end to all the speculations by announcing that they have welcomed a baby boy via surrogacy on January 21. While congratulatory messages poured in from family, friends and well-wishers, many fans also couldn’t help but notice that Priyanka had indeed hinted that the couple were looking forward to the Jonas Brothers family roast which arrived on Netflix in November 2021 .
When Nick and Priyanka posted on their respective Instagram handles together, followers were in awe of, “We are very happy to confirm that we have welcomed a baby boy via surrogate. We respectfully demand privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you very much.” But some people were quick to point out that PC’s apparent ‘joke’ that she and Nick were ‘expecting…’ during the roast was not a joke.
While roasting Nick Jonas during a Netflix special, Priyanka almost shocked her husband and the world with her pregnancy announcement. Priyanka was roasting the brothers on stage, and made a comment about how she and Nick are the only ones who don’t have kids yet.
“In case you didn’t know, we’re the only couple who haven’t had kids yet. So I’m excited to announce this. Sorry, Janu. Nick and I are expecting…sleep tomorrow after drinking tonight You will go.”
Although it was filmed in late October, the Jonas Brothers Family Roast arrived on Netflix in November and netizens are now bringing it back to jokes on Twitter, emphasizing that the actress was telling the truth.

With the baby announced two months after the roast aired, it all makes sense since their surrogate may have been pregnant at the time.
