Priyanka Chopra Spends Time With Malti At Her Playpen Post Parineeti Chopra’s Engagement Party

Priyanka Chopra Jonas may be swamped with work commitments and shoots, but the actress makes sure to make time for her daughter Malti. After making a quick stop in India for Parineeti Chopra’s engagement party, and then making a bundle of public appearances at an event in Italy, the actress headed back to the US to spend time with her baby. Sharing a happy moment of herself with her child, the actress wrote, “Reunion… what do we have here MM (Malti Mary)?”

In the photo, Priyanka can be seen sitting next to Malti in the playpen. Dressed in a simple gray lounge set, Priyanka was seen holding a cardboard box while Malti looked interested in it.

Priyanka recently celebrated Mother’s Day with a post dedicated to Malti, her mother Madhu and her mother-in-law Denise. She added a heartwarming note that read, “I am so lucky to have always had the love of a mother. My mother is the strongest woman I know. And so was her mother. I am a descendant of those women.” I come from a family of warriors and I was raised by many of them. My mother, my aunts, my grandmother. Thank you mom, you are the greatest gift in my life. I couldn’t be more grateful that you are mine!

She added, “To all the moms out there.. that I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working with and that haven’t… you are superheroes. As a new mom I have thoughts of all the providers and nurturers on my mind.” So much respect for the doers, (my mom says moms are providers too, I agree), who dedicate themselves to the next generation. My gratitude. Also for raising an extraordinary son and our Thank you for all the love you have given to the family. I am so lucky. And… I love you Malti Mary. Thank you for making me a mother. It is the biggest honor of my life that you chose me. ❤️🙏🏽 To all celebrating #HappyMothersDay ❤️.

Earlier during an interview with ABC’s The View, Priyanka shared that after the birth of Malti, she re-prioritised her life. She said, “Definitely. I was really grateful that it happened to me at a time when I had the ability to pin it down. Not everyone has the ability to say ‘Hey I’m going to go to work’ or Take a year off but I did. I took a year off and I am one of those who have done four films in a year because I am greedy. I don’t want anyone else to do this job if I don’t get it again . I still have that energy. But it doesn’t matter when she comes. She’s my mark of respect. Wherever I go I want to come back home. She’s with me everywhere. She’s in New York now Which means my mother has worked everywhere.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Priyanka Chopra recently featured in Love Again alongside Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. She will next be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zara co-starring Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif. The film is touted to be a road-trip film similar to Akhtar’s hit film Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara which also starred Hrithik Roshan, Abhay Deol.
