Priyanka Chopra will soon be seen in The Bluff
Priyanka Chopra is currently in Australia shooting for the highly anticipated film The Bluff.
Priyanka Chopra’s journey in showbiz has been an inspiration. The actress started her career by entering a beauty pageant back in 2000, then stepped into Bollywood to deliver films that were widely loved and appreciated. She has now become a global icon with multiple Hollywood titles to her credit apart from her philanthropic deeds.
The actress recently took to her Instagram handle to share a bundle of videos from her 20s. The actress was seen performing on multiple award shows, mesmerizing the audience with her energetic dance moves and captivating stage presence. She then added a heartfelt note, revisiting those days. “Throwback to the Early 2000s, almost 2001, 2002. When I first started working in the movies in Mumbai, I truly did not know how much of a love affair I would have with the stage and especially dancing on it. When I was in school, I was always doing extra curriculars on stage, but there was something that just hits different when I’m performing on songs from my movies sung by the most incredible singers in India and being able to deliver entertainment to a live audience. It is intoxicating. It’s the closest I’ve felt to doing what my husband does every day, LOL.. #rockstarlife.”

She further added, “But looking back at some of these videos, I can’t help but get nostalgic about how the young me would go for multiple rehearsals over days, lean on the incredible choreographers and dancers that sculpted me into becoming more and more confident on stage and on set.”
On a closing note, she added, “Thank you to everyone who, without even knowing, contributed to my journey in such a big way. This is just a throwback to a girl in her 20s, shaping the woman that I am today. I’m proud of her. And grateful for her dedication and hustle. Take the time to be proud of your younger self. Back in 2000, Priyanka became the runner-up in Miss India, then she was crowned Miss World in the same year. She was 18-year-old. Post which she made her Bollywood film debut with The Hero: Love Story Of A Spy, co-starring Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta.
