global star Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Friday condoled the death of Siddharth Shukla, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 40. Priyanka shared a reflective quote on her Twitter handle, which read, “Heritage is leaving nothing for the people. It is leaving something. People. – Peter Stropel” She wrote, “Gone too soon #SidharthShukla. Deepest condolences to his family, friends and fans. Om Shanti,” emoticon with folded hands.
Siddharth bid farewell to the world in Mumbai on Thursday morning. The exact reason behind his death has not been revealed yet. Several reports state that the 40-year-old actor passed away due to a heart attack. He was cremated at the Oshiwara crematorium on Friday afternoon. His body was brought from Cooper Hospital-Mumbai in an ambulance adorned with flowers.
Siddharth’s mother Rita Shukla, sisters and rumored girlfriend Shehnaaz Kaur Gill, who were present at the crematorium along with her brother Shahbaz.
Members of the television industry, friends and family members were present at the funeral at the Oshiwara crematorium on Friday afternoon. Jai Bhanushali, Mahi Vij, Aly Goni, Asim Riaz, Rahul Mahajan, Vikas Gupta, Abhinav Shukla, Karanvir BohraOthers, including Shefali Jariwala and Darshan Rawal, reached the crematorium to bid their last farewell to Siddhartha.
Many other stars including Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, Raj Kumar RaoManiesh Paul and others reached the late Siddhartha’s residence on Thursday to pay his respects. Siddhartha was 40 when he breathed his last. Cooper Hospital in Mumbai confirmed his death to ANI.
According to a hospital official, he was brought dead to the hospital on Thursday at around 9:25 am. However, the exact reason behind his death has not been revealed yet.
The actor was last seen in reality shows ‘Bigg Boss OTT’ and ‘Dance Deewane 3’ alongside Shehnaaz Gill. The late star rose to fame with the hit TV shows ‘Balika Vadhu’ and ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’.
He also shared screen space with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in the 2014 hit film ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’. The actor was also seen together Diljit Dosanjo In the 2018 film ‘Soorma’. He recently tasted success with his stint in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’ where he emerged as the winner. The actor’s last screen outing was Ekta Kapoor’s hugely popular show ‘Broken But Beautiful 3’ in which she played the role of Agastya.
