Priyamani opens up on hating her character in the series The Family Man Face
Priyamani backed Kareena Kapoor Khan over the alleged fee hike to play Sita in the 2019 adaptation of Ramayan.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, The Family Man actress said, “On pay parity I would definitely say that if a woman is asking what she wants I think it is because she deserves it. It’s her market thing and she deserves what she’s asking for. So I don’t think you should question that… about pay parity, I don’t think there’s anything wrong.. .What I am saying is that if a woman is specifically asking how much amount she is asking for, I think she very well deserves it. So I don’t think there is anything wrong. Women have gotten to the point where they can say what they want… you can’t comment on a guy just because you think it’s wrong doesn’t mean the guy doesn’t deserve it “
Meanwhile, mythological drama writer KV Vijayendra Prasad earlier clarified that Kareena has not been finalized for the role yet. Earlier there were reports that the makers are also considering essaying the character of Deepika Padukone.
The film will feature Mahesh Babu in the role of Ram and Hrithik Roshan is likely to play the role of Raavan. The big budget film will be co-produced by Madhu, Allu Aravind and Namit Malhotra. It will be shot in 3D. Apart from Hindi, the film will also release in Tamil and Telugu languages.
