The makers of the much-awaited period drama “Prithviraj”, based on the life of mighty emperor Prithviraj Chauhan, released the teaser of the film on Monday.
In the film, superstar Akshay Kumar is playing the role of the legendary warrior Prithviraj Chauhan, who fought bravely against the ruthless invader Muhammad of Ghor. Former Miss World and actress Manushi Chhillar is playing the role of his beloved Sanyogita. He made his Bollywood debut with this film.
Akshay unveiled the teaser of the film on his Instagram handle, saluting the courage of the brave. In the caption, he wrote, “A heroic story about pride and valor. Proud to play the role of Samrat #PrithvirajChouhan. Celebrate #Prithviraj with #YRF50 on 21st Jan’22 only on your nearest big screen.”
The teaser gives a glimpse of the grand epic battles fought by Prithviraj Chauhan and the courage and courage displayed by him. It also unveiled historical characters played by actors Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood.

Produced by Yash Raj Films, the film is directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, who previously directed the award-winning film ‘Pinjar’ and the television epic ‘Chanakya’ – based on the life of India’s most influential political strategist.
‘Prithviraj’ will release worldwide on January 21, 2022.
