Captain Virat Kohli-led Indian team had to undergo a strict quarantine period after their 2-week quick escape and also after each Test match to avoid the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Although the players are accompanied by their families, the quarantine period can be a bit boring. However, Indian batsmen Suryakumar Yadav (popularly known as SKY) and Prithvi Shaw have found a new way to defy their quarantine blues. It is no news that Suryakumar is in love with comedy films. Earlier in an interview, the cricketer had revealed that he can watch movies like Andaz Apna Apna, Hera Pheri, Chupke Chupke on loop.
Now in a latest Instagram post, Prithvi and Suryakumar were seen copying a scene from the film Andaz Apna Apna. The two took their much-discussed bromance to another level. Sky and Prithvi spoke dialogues of Bollywood actors Aamir Khan and Salman Khan. Sharing the funny video with his fans and followers, Suryakumar wrote in the caption, ‘Sir, you are not only a man, but a great man. (Sir, you are not a man, you are a great man).”
His lip sync and strange facial expressions left his peers and friends in splits. Indian cricket team prank master Yuzvendra Chahal, Bollywood actor and director Farhan Akhtar and Sunrisers Hyderabad star Rashid Khan could not control their laughter over the video. Actor Aparshakti Khurana commented on the post. Not only was the video fun but no one expected Earth and Sky in this element.
Apart from this, both players are currently serving a 10-day quarantine period in the UK. The powerhitting batsmen are not available for the second Test against England starting on August 12. Although he will be available for the last three Test matches, the Indian cricket team management will decide on his place in the team after a few practice sessions. Both of them can get a chance to play in the fourth and final Test only if the current batting order fails in the upcoming Test.
