The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed their 2023 Christmas card on Friday, December 15. The virtual greeting was sent by mail by the Archewell organization.
The British Royal Family has delved into the Christmas festivities and how. Often ahead of December 25th, many celebrities and prominent personalities take part in Christmas card photoshoots with their family. The royal family was also no exception to the rule. Earlier, Prince William and the Princess of Wales Kate Middleton dropped their Christmas card of the year on social media. The black and white picture also featured their three kids namely George, Charlotte, and Louis. Now, joining the trend was Prince William’s brother Prince Harry, and his wife Meghan Markle — the Duchess of Sussex.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex revealed their 2023 Christmas card on Friday, December 15. The virtual greeting was sent by mail by the Archewell organization — a firm assigned with the responsibility of conducting philanthropic activities. The card comes with the message, “We wish you a very happy holiday season. Thanks for all the support in 2023!” Along with the Christmas card, the Archwell Foundation also released a video on the institution’s annual impact report on their official website. The video highlights some important moments of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s philanthropic acts in the year 2023. The visual footage also offered glimpses of the Duke and Duchess’ endearing moments with the masses.
The holiday card showed Megan Markle dressed in a green strapless gown at the closing ceremony of the 2023 Invictus Games. Standing next to Prince Harry, she was seen clapping her hands joyously while sporting a beaming smile on her face. Harry too was decked up in a formal black suit. He reciprocated Megan’s clapping gesture with a smile. For the royal pair, releasing a holiday card has become almost like a ritual. For their holiday greeting last year, the pair selected a black-and-white picture of themselves. The snapshot was taken when they graced the Robert F Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award Gala in New York City.
Earlier, Megan Markle also revealed that she was enjoying the holiday season with Prince Harry since their kids — Archie and Lilibet were still young. At Variety’s Power of Women gala ceremony organised in Los Angeles, Megan was asked to reveal her favourite holiday tradition by a reporter. In her response, the Duchess said, “That’s a great question. Our little ones are little, and we’re enjoying every moment of it.”
Prince Harry and Megan Markle have been taking part in holiday card celebrations since 2018.
